“I love a good challenge. I was able to run in an obstacle course last year and it was so inspiring to cross the finish line. I couldn’t wait to do another one. I have run in 3 marathons, 4 half marathons, and have completed several 5K’s. The price is perfect and location is ideal. I am a mother of 4 and I'm getting my friends to sign up -It’s going to be a blast.”

A few years ago, life circumstances and personal decisions lead to my gaining 50 pounds. Recommitting to my health was a major hurdle for me. When I re-engaged in health and fitness, I was shocked how hard it was and struggled with the idea of giving up. I’m so glad I persevered to become consistent in my fitness routine. The Reviver Challenge is a reminder that obstacles exist and can be overcome. As a Personal Trainer, I continually motivate and remind my clients that the payoff of overcoming our obstacles is well worth our efforts. Perhaps the physical accomplishment reminds us that we can persevere through emotional challenges in life. The Reviver Challenge will challenge us individually and yet encourage and inspire. I am looking forward to this event. Hope to see you there”

“I competed in the Reviver Challenge’s first annual race in 2011. After 2.5 miles of sweat, toil, and intensity, I can emphatically say I enjoyed every second! The exhilaration of competition and the determindness to beat the clock and other competitors pushed me forward to overcoming the obstacles. I enjoyed competing so much, I entered again on the same day and performed even better than my first run! Seeing the funds going to a good cause also added to the satisfaction - a good time all around, the Reviver Challenge is it! Good luck!”

“I needed a challenge in my life so my Mom got me training for this event. I play soccer and I like to exercise. I have run a race in Washington DC and have completed a Kid’s Triathlon. I hope other kids my age will have fun and enjoy the Reviver Challenge. My friends and I will be running. I hope whoever is doing it will work their hardest and do whatever it takes. So, Good Luck! See you there.”

“I used to be an avid runner. Having gotten lazy and out of shape, I’m working my way back to a regular routine. I’m looking forward to pushing myself and envisioning running 5ks and marathons. Reviver Challenge looks like a great way to dig deep and test myself.”

“My husband and I really enjoy running obstacle course races and last year we had a great time running the Reviver mostly because it gave us the opportunity to include our children. The obstacles were challenging for adults with alternatives for children. We made it a family affair with my sister and her family running it with us. We are all looking forward to running the Reviver again this year!!”
